There are over 1,200 fire hydrants in the Town of Newburgh.

The recent snow storm has resulted in significant snow accumulation that has buried fire hydrants throughout the Town.

To avoid a delayed response to fire emergencies, please remove accumulated snow from around the fire hydrants near your home or ask a younger friend or neighbor to remove the snow for you.

Please take precaution in doing this task and do not over-exert yourself.
