LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY

Release Date: January 24, 2026

Due to an impending, severe winter storm that poses threat to life and property, I Supervisor of the Town of Newburgh Gil Piaquadio hereby declare a Local State of Emergency on travel, starting Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. to Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 12:00 a.m.

To ensure safety, only emergency personnel, essential employees, and emergency travel are permitted on the roadways during this winter storm.
