NOTICE OF ANNUAL COMMISSIONER ELECTION
OF THE COLDENHAM FIRE DISTRICT
DECEMBER 8, 2026
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The annual Commissioner Election of the Coldenham Fire District will take place on December 8, 2026 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Coldenham Fire District Leased Space located at 469 Route 17K, Suite 2, Rock Tavern, New York for the purpose of: Electing three Commissioners for terms as follows: one 5-year term commencing on January 1st, 2027 and ending on December 31st, 2031, one 4-year term commencing on January 1st, 2027 and ending on December 31, 2030, and one 3-year term commencing on January 1st, 2027 and ending on December 31, 2029.
Only those persons who have registered with the Orange County Board of Elections on or before the 18th day of November 2026, and have resided in the Coldenham Fire District for at least thirty days prior to the date of the election, shall be eligible to vote.
Any eligible resident desiring to have his or her name appear on the ballot for one of the above positions must have filed a petition signed by at least twenty-five (25) qualified electors of the Coldenham Fire District, with the Secretary of the Fire District not later than November 18, 2026. The petition must be for the specific position term (5 year, 4 year or 3 year) as described above. Interested parties may obtain blank petitions by emailing Secretary Keenan at the email address below.
