NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NEW UTILITY BUILDING

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for the construction of a utility building at 511 Coldenham Road, Walden, New York, will be received by the Coldenham Fire District at 469 State Route 17K, Suite 2, Rock Tavern, New York 12575, until 6:30 p.m. on October 26, 2026, and then be publicly opened and read aloud. 

Copies of the bidding documents, including Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Plans, Specifications and Contract, may be obtained on line as a download at the following website www.godataflow.com.  Directions are as follows:

The site is the current site of the firehouse of the Coldenham Fire District, located at 511 Coldenham Road, Walden, New York, and is open for inspection at the convenience of the bidders during the bidding period.  There is no pre-bid meeting. 

Bids will be received on a Lump Sum basis for the following contracts:

  • Contract No. 1 General Trades/General Construction Work
  • Contract No. 2 Electrical Work

Bids must be submitted on official forms and in sealed envelopes at the above address and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the bidder, and designation of “New Utility Building” and "Coldenham Fire District".

The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to readvertise for new bids.  Bids shall be awarded in accordance with General Municipal Law §103.
