LICENSE PLATE READERS IN THE TOWN OF NEWBURGH

The Town of Newburgh acquired a License Plate Reader (LPR) system using funding from a $439,239 New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Grant, through Governor Kathy Hochul, that was awarded to its’ Law Enforcement Technology (LETECH) Program to obtain Police equipment.

A total of $175,000 of this grant funding was used to acquire the Town’s LPR system.

Flock Safety provides LPRs to the Town.
