NOTICE OF ADOPTION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 11th day of August, 2025, the Town Board of the Town of Newburgh in the County of Orange, State of New York, adopted Local Law No. 7 of 2025 entitled “A Local Law Amending Chapter 174 entitled ‘Vehicles and Traffic’ of the Code of the Town of Newburgh: Stop Intersection on Neversink Drive” the effect of which is to provide for the designation of the following intersection as a stop intersection at which a stop sign shall be erected:

Stop Sign on: Neversink Drive Direction of Travel: South At Intersection of: Delaware Road

The adoption of the Local Law was determined by the Town Board to be a Type II Action under the State Environmental Quality Review Act regulations and therefore requires no further environmental review.

A public hearing on the adoption of this Local Law was held on the 11th day of August, 2025, during which the public had the opportunity to provide comments on behalf or in opposition of the proposed Local Law and any part thereof. The Town Board has determined it is in the best interest of the Town to adopt this Local Law.
