Orange County - The Town of Newburgh Town Board, as lead agency, has made the Draft Scoping Outline available for the proposed Town of Newburgh 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update. The Draft Scoping Outline is available at the Town of Newburgh Town Clerk Office at the Town of Newburgh Town Hall, located at 1496 Route 300, Newburgh, NY 12550 and online at https://www.townofnewburghny.gov/documents/Draft-Scoping-Outline.pdf.  Written comments on the Draft Scoping Outline will be accepted until September 20, 2025.

The proposed action involves updating the adopted Town of Newburgh Comprehensive Plan which was last updated in 2005 (herein referred to as the Proposed Action). The Proposed Action will provide the Town of Newburgh with an updated Plan to guide decision-making, land use, conservation, development, sustainability, and resiliency within the community.  The project is located throughout the Town of Newburgh, New York.
